Maciej Kuźmiński’s The Four Seasons is a celebration of life depicted in a kaleidoscope of images, unraveling in a mesmerizing and complex dance composition. Created for the company of seven dancers of Central Europe Dance Theater, one of the oldest dance theaters in Hungary, the work brings on stage the most characteristic elements of Kuźmiński’s choreographic style and new endeavors into reinterpreting folk tradition. In its ever-morphing structure, The Four Seasons weaves nature and culture, rebirth, and return, becoming a wider metaphor for life as flux.
Following the performance, the audience is invited to participate in a discussion, providing an opportunity to engage with the creative process and share insights.
