This autumn, the Central Europe Dance Theatre will present Four Seasons — a captivating performance choreographed by Maciej Kuźmiński — in Romania and Hungary.

Inspired by Vivaldi’s famous composition, the performance explores the stages of human life, the relationship between community and the individual, as well as the fast pace of the 21st century and the search for harmony. The piece blends European contemporary dance with elements of Hungarian folk dance, while reinterpreting East-Central European rituals in the context of today’s world. The four seasons – spring, summer, autumn, and winter – create distinct atmospheres and address existential questions such as rebirth, free will, and the relationship between humanity and time.
